HINDU-MOSLEM RIOTS
FOUR PERSONS ICT.I.ED BY POLICE
Recd 6 p.m. London, Jan. 8. Four persons were killed when the police fired on a crowd during HinduMoslem riots at Ranibennur, says Reuter’s Bombay correspondent. Rioting occurred during a procession honouring the Indian national army. Some shops and one cinema were burned. Twenty-five were taken into custody.
