16-YEAR-OLD WORKER KILLED BY TRACTOR.
(P.A.) Timaru, Jan. 9. Riding as a passenger on a tractor driven by his brother at Gleniti, shortly after 6 o’clock to-night, a 16-year-old farm worker, Basileel Noel Aicken, of Fairview, near Timaru, was killed almost immediately when he leaned forward and fell in front of the machine, one wheel passing over him. The father was walking alongside when the tragedy happened.
