PLANE FOR ENGLAND-N.Z. FLIGHTS
TEST FLIGHTS SOON Recd. 6 p.m. London, Jan. 8 Prototype of the Tudor, which will be used by the British Overseas Airways Corporation, on the EnglandAus ralia-New Zealand service, is expected to make its first test flight towards the erd of January. It recently was inspected by the Minister of Civil Aviation, Lord Winster. It will be some time, however, befo. e this aircraft is delivered to 8.0.A.C., anil another period will elapse before it comes into service, since the corporation is expected to to make operational and training tests first, arid possibly wilt require some modifications. The first Tudor, one which will ho used in the Atlantic -ei vice, is expected to be delivered io 8.0.A.C. in about n mon h's time.
