CITY ACCIDENTS

MINOR INJURIES SUFFERED Four accidents, some of a serious nature, occurred in the city over the holiday period. All were attended by the St. John Free Ambulance and taken to hospital. Mr. P. Carr, of Coull’s flats, Maria Place, fell in Victoria Avenue mout 6.30 p.m., suffering slight head . ’juries. Falling from a motor-cycle he was riding on Heads Road, near Raupo Street, on Christmas Eve, Mr. A. R. Davies, of 29 Fergusson Street suffered head injuries. After receiving attention he was able Io proceed home.

Slight head injuries were suffered by Mrs. G. E. Rayner, of Gonville Avenue, when she had a fall in Maria Place on Christmas Eve. When two motor-cars came into collision al the corner of Poutini Street and Jelicoe Street, Wanganui East, yesterday, a child, Eliza Morgan, received cuts on a cheek from flying glass and was taken to hospital for attention.
