TRIALS OF JAPANESE
WAR CABINET TO BE CHARGED JOINTLY Recd. 6 p.m. Tokio, Dec. 22. Tojo and his entire Cabinet, who plunged Japan into the war, will be tried jointly as war criminals in the first of the major war trials, starting in February. Meanwhile it is learned that Nashinioto and several other Japanese held at Sugamo prison may be freed. The prosecution made it clear that the Trial Commission must investigate a considerable time before the Pearl Harbour attack to fix the major war criminals’ guilt.
