EltD-Ol -YEAR FUNCTIONS
On Wednesday evening the customary social was hold a 1 the Aramoho School when Form 1 pupils were the host to farewell pupils of Form 2. Games, competitions, musical items and a play by Form I girls provided an enjoyable programme after which supper was served. On behalf of Form 2 pupils, lan Rogers, head prefect, presented Mr. E. H. Taylor, headmaster, with a handsome book for hi-' efforts on their behalf. Mr. J. Dash, principal Wanganui Technical College, was Hie speaker a the break-up ceremony on Thursday. He advised the children to get. the besi out of life by putting as much effort into their actions as they could and congratulated the school on its achievement . Mrs. Dash was presented with a shoulder spray by the girl [r.efect, Betty Mu'.imer. 'Later Mrs. Dash presented the Form 2 Primary School Certificates and the School Committee's prizes for Dux of the School. Two girls, namely Do otiiy Baylor and Joanne Dooley, tied for thi honour. Pupils rendered Christmas carols in a pleasing manner.
