“KIWIS” ARE GOING TO AUSTRALIA
HOPE TO START IN ADELAIDE AT EASTER Back-stage with the personnel of the Kiwis, that popular stage company, die main topic of conversation is their forthcoming Australian tour. They will open in Adelaide on Easter Saturday. Mr. Vincent, the manager of the company, said that transport arrangements have not yet been finalised, but should shipping not be available the entire company hopes to travel by the trans-Tasman Clipper. He also stated that, as members ol the original Kiwi Concert Party returned from overseas they would be invited to join the show, and it was hoped to thus further improve an already celebrated group of artists. Tim Bonner a former Wanganui lesident who was a member of the original Middle East Kiwis, has married and now resides in Wellington. Phil Jay, the popular comedian ana female impersonator, who will be well remembered by Wanganui residents who saw the Kiwis on their first New Zealand tour, is ill and Bill Bain and John Hunter, who are equally a* clever, will be taking some of his parts until he returns to the stage in a month or so.
