SUMMER HANDICAP—3RD ROUND. Members of Tawhero Golf Club will nlay the third round of the Summer Handicap on Saturday. Following is the draw:— Ladies.—Mrs. A. Mclntyre v. Miss M. Mclntyre, Miss M. Holmes v. Miss A. Uttley, Miss E. Johnson v. Mrs D. M. Haggie, Mrs. A. Scadden a bye. Men.—R. Shaw v. L. Nixon. F. Ludbrook v. W. McMenamin, C. Taylor v. W. Parke, J. Karaitiana v. E. Done, S. Edinger v. B. Mclntyre H. Brodie v. D. Gray, L. Thompson v. T. Puddle, M. Gordon v. P. Jackson, J. Nimmo v. M. Ryan, R. O. Foster v. J. Saltinstall, J. Cathro a bye. Last Saturday saw good scoring generally in the first round of the Summer Cup, players making the best of the fast fairways. In the ladies’ section Mrs. A. Mclntyre camo in with a record card of 79>18-61—the best net score so far recorded over the whole Summer Cup series. In the men’s section R. O. Foster led Ihe field with 80-11-69. Several others carded 71’s. Tlie week-end Medal was won by Mrs. A. Mclntyre, 79-18-61.
