ARAB SHOT DEAD
ILLEGALLY CROSSING INTO PALESTINE
Recd. 8 p.m. Jerusalem. Nov. 21. One of a party of four Arabs illegally crossing from Syria into Palestine was shot and killed inside the Palestinian frontier by a Syrian gendarme, who has been arrested. The Arabs were crossing a bridge over the river Jordan, when they were called on to halt. They ignored the order, and the gendarme followed them and fired twelve shots.
