Forecast to 5 p.m.: Strong to gale northerlies decreasing; weather, cloudy and mild with occasional rain at. first, but soon improving. Further outlook: Scattered showers and cooler. The New Zealand Friends’ School, St. John’s Hill, as follows for the 24 hours ending 6 p.m. yesterday: Sunshine, 5 hours 40 minutes. Rainfall, nil. Maximum temperature, 73 dog. Fahr.; minimum temperatures, 52 deg. Fahr.
