BRITISH PETROL DESTROYED
Recd. 10 p.m. Saigon, Nov. 10 Annamese Nationalists last night penetrated the R.A.F. regiment’s perimeter at Saigon -airfield and destroyed by fire about 20,000 gallons of high octane aviation spirit, which Reuters correspondent says represented practically the entire R.A.F. stock in Indo China. However, it Is officially stated that destruction of Ihe petrol will rot. seriously impede flying, since the R.A.F.’s commitments are light. A French force, equipped with American tanks, occupied Tan Nlnn, 58 miies north-west of Saigon, opening the first, overland link with Cambodia. This will permit extra food supplies for Saigon.
