LIQUOR NEAR DANCE HALLS
“TCO PREVALENT,” SAYS MAGISTRATE Commenting that cases of young men being in the possession of liquor near dance halls were too prevalent, said Mr. J. 11. Salmon, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Wanganui, yesterday, imposed a fine of £5 each on Piko Hawkiips and Colin Campbell McNicol. Hawkins admitted having liquor in his possession near the Baden 1 Powell Hall on October 31. and McNicol admitted a sim’lar charge in respect ol the Kaitoke Hall on November 3.
