Mr. F. Purnell, Marton, chairman of the Wanganui - Rangitikei Electric Power Board, has left for Wellington Io attend a conference of delegates of Electric Power Boards.
Major S. Hanton, a former member of the Wanganui Male Choir, who has returned to the city after being a prisoner of war, was welcomed by the president, Mr. W. M. Gordon, at a recent practice.
