EFFORTS TO ASCERTAIN WHO HE IS. Reed. 6 p.m. London, Sept. 24. The Air Ministry is trying to identify, through the Press, an R.A.F. airman who, when flying alone crashed and was killed and buried as an unknown near Argenteuil, in France. A photograph of a g‘rl was found beside the body in a folding metal pocket case in pink and gold. She k a dark-eyed brunette. Written on the photograph was: “To Bob from Barb.”

The Ministry believes the girl may belong to one of the Dominions.
