A.T.C. ADDRESSED

VISIT OF WING-COMMANDER C. F. GRAY. The development of the Spitfire from the time of the Battle of Britain was described by Wing-Comman-der C. F. Gray in a talk to officers and personnel of the No. 9 (Wanganui) Squadron of the Air Training Corps, last night, at the A.T.C. headquarters. Th?re were also present members of the Wanganui Collegiate School A.T.C. Unit. Before the talk, Flight-Lieutenant. F. W. Gilligan, officer commanding the No. 9 Squadron, introduced WingCommander Gray, who, he said had a distinguished war record. The squadron deemed it an honour to have him as its guest that night, a.s the members had followed his career with keen interest.
