FINLAND MUST IMPORT RUSSIAN CEREALS
Recd. 10 p.m. Helsinki, Sept. 5. Finland must import 250.000 tons of cereals from Russia to maintain the present ration level, announced Mr. Arvo Fehtinen, General Secretary of the Finnish Supply Ministry. He added that the Finns cannot expect improvement in the meagre rations until the autumn of 1946. Harn frosts had destroyed the greater part of the northern Finland potato crop.
