WAR CABINET IS DISSOLVED

NO LONGER NEEDED (F.A.) Wellington, Aug. 21. The Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, announced to-day that, with the conclusion of hostilities against Japan, the War Cabinet had unanimously concluded that its functions could henceforth be performed by the Government Cabinet and that therefore it should be dissolved. As a result of this decision Mr. Hamilton and Mr. Perry retire by mutual consent and have tendered their resignations to the GovernorGeneral

Mr. Fraser paid a warm tribute to the services rendered bv Mr. Hamilton and Mr. Perry, and also recalled a'.d naid tribute to the services of the late Rt. Hon. J. G. Co?. Los.
