WANGANUI LADIES’ CLUB Members of the Wanganui Ladies’ Golf Club will play the usual weekly games to-morrow, the draw being as follows; Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Eksiedt; Mrs. Broderick and Miss Currie; Mrs. Richardson and Mrs. Parsons; Mrs. Handley and Mrs. Grace; Mrs. Cutfield and Mrs. Young; Mrs. Goldsbury and Mrs. A. Hunter; Mrs. Gilbert and Mrs. Collins; Mrs. Dalgety and Mrs. Coghill; Mrs. C. C. Smith and Miss Collier; Mrs. Bell and Mrs. Doig; Mrs. Aiken and Mrs. Ogier; Mrs. Bassett and Mrs. Kellick; Mrs. Sommerville and Mrs. Siott; Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Moore Hunter; Mrs. Sutherland and Mrs. Morrison. On Wednesday, October 4, an open day will be held, when members of all clubs in Wanganui and surround:ing districts will be welcomed. Entries for this tournament will close on Monday, October 2. WANGANUI CLUB The second rounds of the Middleweight and Junior Championships and the Consolation Handicap were completed by members of the Wanganui Golf Club during the week-end. The semi-finals must be played off in the next two week-ends as the finals are set down for October 15. Following are the results of the second rounds: Middleweight. Championship.—R. Carr won from A. Lamont, 3 and 2; J. E. Marshal] won from E. Gilbert. 3 and 2; W. Forsyth won from H. Collins. 1. up: F. Melody won from A. Kellick. 3 and 1. Junior Championship—F. E. Ogier won from H. Brittain. 1 up: F. Freeman won from A. Doig at the 19th: T. G. Hackshaw won from B. Hoar, 2 and 1: C. J. McLean won from D. J. Ai mstrong, 4 and 3. Consolation T-Tandicap.--A. T-T. Foyes won from F. K. Turn bull by default; E. Goldsbury won from D. N. Anderson at the '23rd; J. C. Frown won from W. G. Haggle at the 22nd; L. H. Aitken won from W. P. Newsham 3 and 2.
