WINTER BOWLING
SUCCESSFUL SEASON ENDS Saturday saw the closing of the Winter Bowling Club's season, when the tournament which was commenced the previous Saturday was completed. Mr. Colmer thanked members of other clubs for the support given during the seaton, and presented the prizes to winners of the competitions. The winners were: Saturday rinks, W. Anderson. M. Tolley, B. Shaw; Wednesday rinks, W. Hart, M. Stewart. Jim Glover. Winners of Saturday's tournament were E. Edlin, F. Dempster and W. D. Harris. Others taking part were: Greener (Pidgeon sub), Hart, Shaw, C. S. Brown (Michie); Tizard, Rickard. McDonald, Ormsby; Reynolds (Wright sub). Cameron, Brass; Peters, Stent, Davidson, W. Pepper; Aitken (Walker sub), Goldsack, Taylor, McPhail; W. J. Browne, Tolley. Hayward. Hawkins: Ward, Eccles. Kirk; Simpson, Brougham, Hay, Caird; Ginn. Burns, Downey, W Harris; Curtis, Joe Glover, Johnston; Bates, W. P’-nwn. Moffatt.
