HURRICANE CLAIMS U.S. SHIPS OF WAR

DESTROYERS AND PATROL VESSELS. Reed. 8 p.m. Washington, Sept. 18. The Navy announced that the destroyer Warrington and the Coast Guard patrol vessels Jackson and BedJoe, were lost in the recent hurricane which swept the Atlantic seaboard. The loss of life on the destroyer was heavy.
