Mr. H. Whiting, sole selector for the Wanganui Rugby Union, is still undergoing treatment for t an injury suffered to his head at Imlay works hast Tuesday morning. A frozen sheep carcase fell on him from a fair height, and he had to be treated at the Wanganui Public Hospital for a scalp wound and concussion. He is still unable to resume work. He is a member of a well-known cricketing family, and is at present stationed in* England. Lieutenant Aubrey Burton, 2nd. N.Z.E.F. and Pi lot.-Officer G. Burton, who has recently returned from operations in the Pacific, are brothers. Another brother. Pilot-Officer Jack Burton, after fighting air battles in Singapore, was reported missing in the Pacific several months ago.
