FAREWELL PARTY A farewi II partv was- held at the residence of Mr. C. H. Thorby on Monday evening last, when opportunity was taken to make a present, to Private Parry Thorby, who was on leave. Mr. Walker, chairman of the Town Board, made the rresentation, and Mr J. J. Mansell, former employer of Private Thorby, also took tlv opportunity of wishing the guest the best of luck. Ncxt-of-kin of men returning from overseas service are requested to notify the Welcome Home Committee of any man returning for whom tlv*y are unable to provide suitable transport from railway to home.
