N. Hood, at the mpnihly meet.mg of the Wanganui Hcispital Board on Thursday. Steady progress was being made with the l installation of engineering services at the Jubilee Home, reported the engineer, Mr. F. M. Smith, who adued ti nt, the contractors were finding it difficult to secure suitable tradeomem for this work. The main steam piping from the boilers Io the main building, also the radiator pipe lines, he/d passed the required tests under pressure. “I have also tested out the hot water services Ihroughcut the new building and this has proved very satisfactory,” th4* engineer added. “The automatic stokess. steam pumps and cold water pump have been installed and steam wi|ll be available < within the next fortnight.”
