MONEY FOR WAR WORK
Recd. 6 p.m. Rugby, Oct. 1. More than £12,000,000 has been raised in the first four years of the war by the Red Cross and Order of St. John organisation. This figure was announced by Lord Iliffe, chairman of the appeal for the fund, and The Times, in reporting it, states that the British War Relief Society of America has, in addition, raised £6,750,000 for British relief in the last two years.— 8.0.W.
