MARTON Mr. N. A. Nielsen, Marton, has re ceived the following telegram from the Hon. F. Jones, Minister of Defence: "Pleased to inform you that a further cable advises that your son, Private Roy James Nielsen, previously reported missing, is now reported sate in N.Z.E.F. Camp. It gives me great pleasure to convey this news to you after your very anxious time." Private Roy Nielsen took part in the Crete campaign, and was reported missing on April 26, 1941. The Rev. and Mrs. F. H. Parker, of Marton, have returned to Marton after spending an enjoyable holiday in Gisborne. The Rev. Parker will take the services at the Methodist Church on Sunday.
