FALL OF STONE IN MINE
(P.A J Greymouth, Sep. 2. The Dobson mine was idle to-day because of a fall of stone in No. 1 ropeway. Debris estimated at 20 tons extends for half a chain from four to five fea>t deep. Clearance is expected to-day. and work will be resumed tomorrow. The Liverpool miners are working to-day. having reversed yesterday's decision of ‘‘no tobacco, no work.”
