REGENT THEATRE
“Too Many Women,” starring Neil Hamilton and June Lang, sevening at the Regent Theatre totiay, is evervthing the title implies. Imagine a man engaged to three girls at the same time, and being chased by a fourth, and her public enemy crother. That’s the situation Neil Hamilton finds himself in when he blandly announces he has inherited a fortune, just to avoid taking a job he doesn’t care to assume. Before he can close his mouth, the whole town is under the impression that he has inherited three million dollars from an uncle in Brazil, and practically every xirl in town is chasing him. It’s as complicated and hilarious a mix up as has been seen or. the local screen in many months. Hamilton is little short of perfect as the harrassed fiance of three angiy females. June Lang, first of the girls wished on Neil, gives ore of the best performances of her career. Joyce Compton is well cast as the screw-loose daughter of a windy millionaire, while Mario Dwyer stands out as the gangster’s sister. The associate feature is “Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon.”
