PRESUMED DEAD

MISSING PLANE’S CREW Wellington, May 20. A ’ pilot-officer and three sergeants of the Royal New Zealand Air Force are now officially presumed to have died on October 23, 1942, on which date the aircraft of which they were the crew was reported missing from a North Island air station Despite an extensive search no trace of the aircraft or its occupants was found. Sergeant Graham MacLeod Martin., (Wife, Mrs. I. L. Martin, 31 Francis Avenue, St. Albans, Christchurch). Sergeant Douglas Gordon Martyn (Mother, Airs. E. M. Martyn, Private Bag, Waihi).
