Attending the bride were Miss Dorothy Marshall, sister of the bride, who wore a pink taffeta gown cut o;i Victorian lines, the bodice being appliqued in blue, and Miss Dawn Brooker, who wore a blue taffeta gown cut on similar lines. They had haloes of pink and blue flowers to match, and carried shower bouquets ot stocks, delphiniums, carnations and roses. They wore pearl necklaces, gifts of the bridegroom. The best man was Mr. Roy Dutton. Wellington.

The reception was held at the bride’s home, where Mrs. Marshal] received her guests wearing a navy blue frock with navy blue accessories and a spray of red carnations. Mrs. Friend, who assisted her, wore an electric blue frock with blue accessories and a fur cape. After the reception a dinner was given at Foster’s Hotel by the bridegroom’s mother. For travelling the bride chose a grey tailored costume and grey accessories. The honeymoon was spent at Palmer-ton North and Napier. The bride is continuing teaching at Watpuru, near Hunterville, where she has sole charge, and the bridegroom has rejoined his regiment.*
