WARSAW GHETTO

DRAMATIC MESSAGE Recd. 6 p.m. Rugby, March 18. A dramatic SOS from the Warsaw ghetto which has been received by the Polish National Council in London says that the liquidation of the ghetto has been speeded up. It is intended to emply the ghetto entirely and close it before the spring. Recently 50 Germans were killed while carrying out their gruesome task. The Germans, in reply, brought up machine-guns and massacred hundreds of Jews. “You must save us, otherwise history will hold you responsible for our fate,’’ concluded the message.—B.O.W.
