DAILY INTERCESSION

“Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord.”—Exodus xiv, 13. Great peace have they who put their trust in Thee, O Lord. When Israel came to the Red Sli it did appear as though all hope we e cut off, with the sea before them, and the army of Egypt behind. How often are we brought into a like position, Lord; but, whenever we are, may our eyes be unto Thee Who saith to Thine Israel still, “Fear not.” Thou wouldst not have us run back in craven fear, nor forward in presumptuous confidence till Thy command is given. Meanwhile, may we not lie down in sloth, nor sit in idleness, but stand alert, obedient, in instant readiness for Thy command. So shall we “see the salvation of the Lord.”—Amen.
