FIRE AT HEALTH CAMP
ONE HUT COMPLETELY DESTROYED PROMPT ACTION BY BRIGADE SAVES WHOLE AREA A Are which threatened to attain serious proportions occurred at the Wanganui Health Camp last night, when one of the numerous huts on the reserve was completely destroyed. The fire was discovered at 8.33 nm. and a brigade from the Central Fire Station and one from the Castlecliff station had the fire surrounded and under control in quick time, °iving it ,vn„o han K e s P read t° the main wooden buildings. When the brigade arrived one of the huts was well alight and the walls of others on each side were smouldering.
