O.C. TRANSPORT COMMAND
Recd. 6 p.m. Rugby, March 15. The Air Ministry announces that Air-Chief Marshal Sir Frederick Bowhill has been appointed air officer commanding-in-chief Transport Command, the formation of which was announced last week. Air Chief Marshall Bowhill has held a similar position in Ferry Command since its creation in June, 11)41. Previously he held a similar position in Coastal Command for four years.—••
