Carreras, Ltd., London, earned trading profit in 1941 of £3,121,988, an increase of £906,474. Provision for taaxtion, however, at £2,459,330, was £924,866 higher. Net profit, after taxation and depreciation, etc., was £575,708, against 597,144. Net dividend took £570.128, and £lO,OOO as usual goes to female staff pensions, and left the carry forward £4510 lower at £306,658.
