HUNTERVILLE SALE
The N.Z. Farmers ’Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., report a yarding of 2000 sheep at the Hunterville sale on Thursday. The bulk of the entry comprised lambs which met a keen sale. Breeding ewes were more or less on a par with previous sales. Quotations: Fat forward shorn b.f. lambs 18s; forward ditto 15s 8d to 16s w.f.w. lambs 14s 7d to 15s 6d; medium to 11s lOd; small 6s 4d to 7s 3d; best ewe lambs 19s 6d; medium 13s to 15s 7d; 2-th ewes 25s 6d to 28s Id; small ditto 235; 5 and 6-yr. ewes Ils to 13s 2d; fattening ewes 7s to 7s 6d; mixed aged S.D. rams to 43gns.; aged Romney rams 9s.
