LIVESTOCK MARKETS

VALUES AT FEILDING (Special) Feilding, March 12. Nearly 20,000 sheep were yarded at the sale to-day, comprising mostly breeding ewes and store lambs. The quality of the ewes was not quite equal to the recent yarding, and also farmers generally have filled their requirements. Consequently there was a falling off in the range of prices, except for class lines of ewes. The storj lamb market continues good. There was a small yarding of fat sheep, which sold at very good prices, perhaps a shade up on last week. There was a medium offering of run cattle, for which the market was very sticky, consequently some lines were passed, but fairly good sales were made where vendors were prepared to meet the market. A fine yarding of fat cattle found prices easy, as butchers were not showing much keenness.
