LEND-LEASE ACT
EXTENSION IN U.S.A. Recd. 7 p.m. Washington, March 10. The House of Representatives, by 407 to 6, passed a measure extending the Lease-Lepd Act for another year, but rejected by 178 to 118 an amendment giving Congress veto power over the final settlement. Other proposed amendments were dropped.
