PATEA E.P.S. MEETING

At a meeting of the Patea E.P.S. Central Committee the resignation of Mr. E. W. Harris as Food Controller was accepted. Mr. Harris has left the district to live at Christchurch. The District Food Controller, Mr. C. G. Trotter, is to be asked to assist in filling the vacancy.

A request from the Medical Controller for permission to transfer three men to the Home Guard was granted. Mr. J. W. Haarer was appointed deputy-Medical Controller. Messrs. Broker and Gamby were appointed liaison officers with the Home Guard.
