FIFTH SERIES PLAYED Keen play was seen in the fifth series of games held on Saturday under the control of the Wanganui Women's Baseball Association. Checkers lost to Star, McGruer's lost, to Amazons, Hinemoa beat Crown, and Kia Toa beat United. The Crown-Hinemoa game was the surprise of the day, Hinemoa winning by one run after an extra innings had been played. B. Stinson, Hinemoa, scored a home run. while V. Burt and E.
