WARNING FROM CANADA

“TOO MUCH THINKING OF POST-WAR MATTERS” (Recd. 10 p.m.) Ottawa, Feb. 18. “People are thinking too much of post-war matters at a time when victory is far from won,” said Mr. Mackenzie King in the House of Commons. “There is a very great danger that members of this House and the people are getting impressions that the war will be won this year,” he added. “It is impossible to stress too strongly the seriousness of the existing situation and what is ahead. To defeat the Axis is going to take all the efforts of the Allies for a considerable time to come.”
