ATTEMPTED MURDER
ACCUSED REMANDED AGAIN (P.A.) Wellington, Feb. 16. With the consent of his counsel, John Sidney Crawford, aged 26, seaman, was remanded again to March 31 when he appeared in the Magistrate’s Court to-day on two charges of murder and two of attempted murder. The charges arose from a shooting affray in Terrace Gardens on January 7, when two American Marines were shot -dead and Hazel Josephine Salmon, aged 19, was wounded in three places.
