TARANAKI CENTRE RESULTS At the end of the third day's play in the Taranaki Bowling Centre’s tournament yesterday several Wanganui teams still have a chance to qualify for post-section play, which commences to-morrow (Friday); So far six games have been played. In Section A, J. Kirkwood (St. John's) leads with five wins and one loss, and seems almost certain to qualify. In Section C, S. Marr (Marton) has four wins and two losses and G. H. Handley (Rapanui) two wins and four losses. After a collapse on the second day J. Steel (Wanganui) came to light yesterday with two good wins, making his total four wins, two losses. Wally Fleming (formerly of Wanganui, now of Ohura), in Section D, has secured two wins and four losses.
