BOMBS THROWN IN NAZIOCCUPIED BUILDINGS

(Recd. 8 p.m.) London, Jan. 4. Vichy radio reports that two bombs were thrown in Marseilles last night, one against a house occupied by the German High Command services, and the other against an establishment frequented by German soldiers. Several people were wounded, including a German consular employee’s wife, who was seriously hurt. Severe measures were taken, a curfew imposed, and trams stopped. German troops were ordered to use arms in the event of resistance.
