ENEMY SHIP SCUTTLED

Rugby, Jan. 2. An Admiralty communique states that an enemy merchantman of some 10,000 tons, which was attempting to run the blockade, was intercepted by our patrols in the Atlantic. On being overhauled, the crew scuttled the ship and have been taken prisoners of war.—B.O.W.
