Mr. Percy Lewis Halsted, chairman of directors of the D.1.C., has diet, states a Press Association message from Dunedin. Born in London ir. 1875, he was educated at University College School. Leaving there he entered the London office of the D.I.C. Mr. Halsted arrived in New Zealand in 1896, and for 15 years was in the Christchurch branch of the firm. He took a prominent part in public life and was a director of the Dunedin Exhibition, 1925-26.
