PRODUCTION COMMENCES NEXT MONTH (Recd. 11 p.m.) Chicago. Dec. 28. Rubber Administrator Jeffers announced that the first synthetic rubber plant will be in production early in January with an eventual estimated capacity of 1000 tons a year. Mr. Jeffers admitted that the mil-lion-ton yearly programme was a month behind schedule, but claimed that it would be ahead of schedule within six months.
