When charged in the Magistrate’s Court, Wanganui, yesterday, with having an unlicensed wireless set at Ratana on September 8. a Maori, Winoka Williams, pleaded not guilty, but after hearing submissions Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., said Williams had no defence. He was fined 15s, with costs 17s.
