DEVASTATING EFFECTS
TWO-TON BOMBS ON ESSEN Ankara, March 19. Local German circles say that the last R.A.F. raids against Essen were the worst of the war and it is estimated that over 500 planes participated, dropping hundreds of tons of bombs, including some of two tons, each of which wiped out entire blocks of buildings.
