TARANAKI TROTTING
MEETING AT HAWERA RACECOURSE Three days’ trotting will be staged at the Hawera Racecourse on March 28 and Anril 4 and 6, providing an excellent West Coast circuit which will be topped off with the Manawatu meeting on April 11. As the New Plymouth Racecourse is not available for 1 rotting, lhe Taranaki Trotting Club, through the courtesy of the Hawera Trotting Club, will be' able to stage Ils meeting at Hawera. Included in the programme is lhe Taranaki Trolling Club Handicap (£2oo> and the Farewell Handicap (£130). Altogether there will be eight events and nominations close at 9 p.m. on Monday. March 16.
