(P.A.) Wellington, March 13. Kindergarten was scratched for the Thompson Handicap at 4.5 pan. to-day His withdrawal from the race was telegraphed from Gisborne by his owner. Mr. E. N. Fitzgerald, who added to his telegram: “That field is too big for one to risk such a good horse.”
